HELLO? ANYBODY HERE?

So... I'm pretty new at this. In fact, Id rather be on here obsessing over OTHER people's blogs :D That's definitely entertaining to me. Somehow I've been convinced (by my Husband and specific friends of mine :::whispering::: i won't mention names... ahem!) to do this whole blog thing. Here's the deal... I work with balls. Yep, I know! Big ones, small ones, weirdly shaped ones that suddenly aren't balls anymore... hm... also some cute ones that end up looking like sweet little animals :D And funny thing is almost everyone I know wants to take a bite out of them! Confusing you? Ya... I thought so. Let's get a little more specific here:

What were YOU thinking?? This is it... the very first batch of cake pops I ever made... THE WORST MEMORY OF MY LIFE! First of all these things were GINORMOUS! Im gonna say these puppies were just a taaaaad bit smaller than a tennis ball! Really... I remember being so mad and wondering why I couldn't come up with a batch of 48 balls for the LIFE OF ME! :/ I ended up going to the store to buy another box of cake mix to make up for the missing pops and the ones lost in action during the process. It didn't matter to me though. At this point I was SUCKED in by my worst enemy... Myself. I was determined to get these going and making them right! Sooooooo, I practiced. And practiced. And practiced... and 3 months later made these for my sons 2nd Birthday:

Yes, you're right. There are TONS of cracks, ribbon curling is obviously not my number one talent, and some of those potato heads were looking a bit on the bumpy side. Yet, EVERYONE LOVED THEM! Including the Mommy of the kid I flippin' just about POISONED! (Peanut allergy + Peanut butter candy melts = the sound of a 3 year old clearing his throat and complaining about being itchy within seconds... And I'm a preschool teacher...) At this point I'm thinking, "If everyone loves these... How much more will the love them when I get more practice..." So, I continued to practice. And practice. And... well, you get it. And here I am today:

My name is Nessa.
I am 28 years old.
I am mommy of a 2.75 year old boy named Kaeden.
I am a wife to my high school sweetheart Kollin.
I AM...
Rockin' The Cake Pop. :::enter guitar solo into ROCK SONG:::
